Throwback to a story I told for job interview.

It happened in my flight from Tokyo to LA, a man was a business trip in Tokyo and going back to LA, where his daughter’s home to see his three year old grandson for the last time. The boy, into a coma by car accident, was being taken off of life support at that evening so his organs could be used to save other lives. The man’s wife called airline company to arrange the last-minute flight and explained the emergency situation.
Unfortunately, the man was held up by tokyo traffic and long lines at NRT and didn’t make it to the gate on time. When he finally made it there 10 minutes after the plane was scheduled to leave, he was shocked to find the captain and all our crews waiting for him. This is our team made a decision to wait, He thanked the pilot profusely and us, our captain said, “They can’t go anywhere without me, and we wasn’t going anywhere without you." During the flight, I made a card for him, I told him, I can totally understand how he feels, because I couldn't met my grandfather the last time, I was in the air, we've all been there, I know it's so hard to get through of it, but live still going on, we need to treat someone around us even better. Appreciate what we've gain!

Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished.
